As a preventive public health action, the Board of Directors has postponed the 2020 Marine Embassy Guard Association Annual Business Meeting and Reunion. This is not an action that we have taken lightly, but out of concern for our members and their families.
For those that have registered for the reunion events with MRP, and paid with a check or by credit card, you will automatically receive a full refund, including the processing fee. There is no need to call or email MRP, as they have your information and will process refunds early next week.
At this point, we also anticipate that the hotel will automatically cancel your room reservation, assuming you made your reservation through the MRP booking link or directly with the hotel and not a 3rd party. If you booked through a third party like Expedia, Orbitz, etc. you will need to make sure your reservations are canceled. No matter what system you used to make a reservation, it is advisable to verify your reservation has been canceled with the hotel.
* Please note that if you mailed a check with your registration order to MRP, your check will be shredded on March 18 at 1700, unless you call/email MRP that you prefer to have it returned.
